Simply open the app, tap the camera button, and take a clear photo of the grass you want to identify. Our AI will analyze the image and provide results within seconds.
What makes a good photo for identification?
For best results, take photos in good lighting with the grass clearly visible. Include distinctive features like seed heads, blade patterns, or growth patterns. Avoid blurry or dark images.
Can I use existing photos from my gallery?
Yes! You can either take a new photo or select an existing one from your device's photo gallery.

What's included in the free version?
The free version includes 1 scan per day, basic grass identification, and essential care tips. It's perfect for casual users who want to identify grass occasionally.
What are the benefits of Premium?
Premium ($2.50/month) includes unlimited scans, advanced AI identification, detailed care guides, disease detection, growth tracking, personalized lawn calendar, priority support, and an ad-free experience.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
You can upgrade to Premium directly in the app. Go to Settings > Subscription and tap 'Upgrade to Premium'. Payment is processed through the App Store.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your App Store subscriptions. You'll continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Accuracy & Results
How accurate is the identification?
Our AI is trained on thousands of grass types. Clear, close-up photos in good light give the best result. Rare species can be harder to name.
What if the app identifies my grass incorrectly?
Mistakes can happen. Try another photo from a different angle or with better light, focusing on the blades and any seed heads. Premium users can also contact support for help.
How many grass species can the app identify?
Our database covers over 12,000 grass types from around the world, including common lawn grasses, ornamental grasses, and wild species.

Can the app detect lawn diseases?
Yes! Premium users have access to our disease detection feature, which can identify common lawn diseases, pests, and nutrient deficiencies from photos.
Does the app work offline?
The app requires an internet connection for AI identification. However, you can save results for offline viewing and access previously identified grasses without a connection.
Can I save my identification history?
Yes, all your identifications are automatically saved in your history. You can review past results, add notes, and track your lawn's progress over time.
Privacy & Security
Is my data private?
Absolutely. We don't collect or store any personal data. Photos are processed for identification and immediately discarded. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Are my photos stored somewhere?
No, we don't store your photos. Images are sent to OpenAI for analysis and are not saved on our servers. Your identification history is stored locally on your device.
Troubleshooting
The app is not identifying grass correctly
Ensure you're taking clear, well-lit photos. Try including more of the grass in frame, focusing on distinctive features. Clean your camera lens and avoid shadows.
I can't access my Premium features
Try restoring your purchase in Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchase. If issues persist, contact support with your purchase receipt.
The app is running slowly
Try closing and reopening the app. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If problems continue, try updating to the latest version of the app.
