What makes a good photo for identification?

Can I use existing photos from my gallery?
Yes! You can either take a new photo or select an existing one from your device's photo gallery.

What's included in the free version?
The free version includes 1 scan per day, basic grass identification, and essential care tips. It's perfect for casual users who want to identify grass occasionally.
What are the benefits of Premium?
Premium ($2.50/month) includes unlimited scans, advanced AI identification, detailed care guides, disease detection, growth tracking, personalized lawn calendar, priority support, and an ad-free experience.
How do I upgrade to Premium?
You can upgrade to Premium directly in the app. Go to Settings > Subscription and tap 'Upgrade to Premium'. Payment is processed through the App Store.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel anytime through your App Store subscriptions. You'll continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Accuracy & Results
How accurate is the identification?
Our AI model achieves over 95% accuracy for common grass species. Accuracy may vary based on image quality and the rarity of the species.
What if the app identifies my grass incorrectly?
While our AI is highly accurate, mistakes can happen. Try taking another photo from a different angle or with better lighting. Premium users can contact support for assistance.

The app requires an internet connection for AI identification. However, you can save results for offline viewing and access previously identified grasses without a connection.
Can I save my identification history?
Yes, all your identifications are automatically saved in your history. You can review past results, add notes, and track your lawn's progress over time.
Privacy & Security
Is my data private?
Absolutely. We don't collect or store any personal data. Photos are processed for identification and immediately discarded. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Are my photos stored somewhere?
No, we don't store your photos. Images are sent to OpenAI for analysis and are not saved on our servers. Your identification history is stored locally on your device.
Troubleshooting
The app is not identifying grass correctly
Ensure you're taking clear, well-lit photos. Try including more of the grass in frame, focusing on distinctive features. Clean your camera lens and avoid shadows.
I can't access my Premium features
Try restoring your purchase in Settings > Subscription > Restore Purchase. If issues persist, contact support with your purchase receipt.
The app is running slowly
Try closing and reopening the app. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If problems continue, try updating to the latest version of the app.
